You can vote absentee in 2020

Any voter concerned about COVID-19 can apply for and cast an absentee ballot in Alabama in 2020. Stanley & Associates, LLC will help you

After several rulings from different court systems, including the U.S. Supreme Court, a decision has been finalized to allow anyone to vote absentee in Alabama in 2020.

Specifically, the Secretary of State has encouraged voters to request an absentee ballot and check the box which reads as follows: “I have a physical illness or infirmity which prevents my attendance at the polls. [ID REQUIRED]”


HOW?

1st Make sure you’re registered to vote.

2nd Complete your absentee ballot application by one of these methods:

- Stop by Stanley & Associates in Irondale and we will print and witness it for you, or

- Print your own at Access Online Application |

Then complete the application and mail it in with a copy of your state-issued photo ID.


Election Dates:

August 25: City elections in Jefferson County

October 19: Last day to register for the General Election

October 29: Last day to vote absentee for the General Election

November 3: General Election Day

4 November 2020: The End of The World as we Know It.
